I write about green issues on TreeHugger and am filling this out to see how it works. Although I have a computer burning 16 hours a day, every bulb in my house is a CFL, I bike everywhere, we get all of our food at the farmers market, eat only local and seasonal (and have already started our winter diet of turnip). We still eat a little meat, but it is all happy meat from healthy butchers, very expensive so we don't eat very much.
My house is too big (I have been in it a long time and had two kids who have moved out) and I still have cars (an 89 miata that I drove twice this year and a 2000 subaru) and I own a second home, a cabin by a lake up north, but I went up there in June and did not come back until september so I did not burn too much gas commuting.
I bicycle everywhere in town and never use my car if I can help it, get my electricity from wind and water only through Bullfrog power, and converted my furnace and water heater to an instant on tankless high efficiency furnace. On the other hand my house is a 100 year old leaky sieve and I cannot afford to insulate it.
