The World Species List Forest is owned by the nonprofit, 501(c)(3), conservation organization WSL and is located in the town of Conway, Massachusetts, USA. It is an 86 acres mountainous, forested and rocky site created by the donor of the land and does not follow the narrow criteria imposed by most conservation organizations. It is open to the public. The DROP plan is used to return these acres to the natural landscape in perpetuity. There are no buildings, trails or facilities near or on the WSLF.  It is for walking only.  No hunting or other people use. The forest is named after the WSL, 1992.

Returning acres to the natural state that is influenced only by natural processes is green.
